No, we got you. Paddleboard yoga is for first-timers as much as experienced yogis. Every session is taught with beginners in mind, and modifications are offered for every pose. Come curious; we’ll handle the rest.
For paddleboard yoga: workout clothes or swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, and appropriate footwear. You’ll need to bring or rent your own paddleboard, and a personal flotation device (PFD) is required — inflatable belt or life jacket works. If you don’t have one, let us know and we’ll help you sort it out before you arrive.
Specific experiences may have their own gear lists — check the experience page or your reservation confirmation for details.
Yes — for any water-based experience, you’ll need to be able to swim. We want you confident in the water before we add yoga to the equation.
Come up breathing and laughing — Dawnell will help you get back on your board. Falling in is part of the experience, not a sign you’re doing it wrong. (The waiver says “wobbles encouraged” and we mean it.)
Safety first. If conditions aren’t right for a session, Dawnell will reach out to reschedule or make things right. Northern Colorado weather can shift quickly — we’ll keep you in the loop as session day approaches.
Locations vary. Each scheduled session lists its meeting spot, and details are confirmed when you reserve.
Many sessions take place at Colorado state parks, which require a parking permit — bring your own pass or purchase one at the entrance. Carpooling is always encouraged. Specific meeting details and any session-specific gear are shared in advance.

Reach out as soon as you can. Dawnell will work with you to reschedule or make things right.
Sessions are designed with each participant in mind, and minors need extra care to participate safely. Reach out if you’d like to discuss whether a session might be a fit for your family.
Everyone starts somewhere. If you can stand, balance, and move with reasonable comfort, you can do this. Modifications are always available, and Dawnell will meet you where you are.
Every situation is unique. Talk to your physician first, then reach out so we can chat in advance. There are often ways to participate safely with the right preparation.
Of course you do. Drop us a line — Dawnell reads every message and gets back to you personally.
